I studied Computational Mathematics at Kathmandu University and will begin an MSc in Mathematics at the University of Potsdam in the Winter Semester of 2026. I am working toward the intersection of optimal transport and geometric deep learning, coming from a background in the analysis of constrained optimization problems.
Current work
My recent work is on formulating and analysing optimization problems that arise in stochastic and numerical settings. I am particularly interested in how estimation error and structural constraints, such as sparsity and budget constraints, affect the stability, sensitivity and convergence of optimal solutions. The problems often come from applications, but what I care about is their theoretical structure rather than their empirical performance.

About this site
This is where I keep proof-oriented notes and long-form expository essays, written in the style of lecture notes. Each post tries to give precise definitions, the actual mathematical argument and, where it helps, a proof or proof sketch. The notes double as my preparation for graduate study.
